Our guitars start as a solid piece of 6061 aircraft aluminum. From there we begin the machining process, taking it from a 28-pound block to right around 3 pounds on a body blank. Then, depending on customizations, we may engrave different designs on the body, back or sides of the guitar. As you can see, we typically machine traditional styles, and we have more of your favorite traditional styles coming soon. Whatever it is that you'd like in your Metalin, we will work with you in the design process to see that you get what you want.
